Easy Pineapple Upside Down Cake

1 Yellow Cake Mix
1 to 2 cans sliced or crushed pineapple (drained)
1/2 to 1 cup light brown sugar
butter

Make Cake according to directions on the box. In a 10 inch round pan or black iron skillet or 13×9 inch pan — Generously butter the bottom and sides of pan. Then sprinkle brown sugar evenly on bottom of pan. Next, evenly distribute pineapple on top of sugar. The amount of pineapple will depend on the size of your pan. After this is done pour cake batter in pan and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. When cake is cool flip upside down on a Plate. Enjoy!

You may also mix together some Powered Sugar and Milk and drizzle on cake if you like.

Slow Cooker Beans

This is a great - set it and forget it - Recipe for the Slow Cooker.

2 cups of your favorite Dry Beans (Lima, Black Eye Peas, Great Northern etc…)
4 Cups water
1/2 pound of bacon (sliced about 3 inches long)
1 Large Chopped Onion
Season to taste

Add all ingredients to Slow Cooker and set on Medium High. At the end of the day you will have some great beans to go with any Meal — or to eat alone with steaming Hot Rice. Enjoy!
