Meatballs

Here is a basic recipe for the classic Meatball. These can be Served in a variety of ways including Spaghetti and Meatballs, Fettuccine Alfredo or a Beef Stroganoff.

1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon parsley
2 tbs finely chopped onions
1 finely chopped garlic clove
Salt and Pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients in a bowl then form into 2 inch meatballs. Place in a 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees until cooked through.

Substitutions: You can also use toasted bread soaked in water or milk in place of breadcrumbs. This will make a more tender meatball.
