Recipes - Meats and Entrees


1 head Cabbage
1/2 cup minced onion
2 tbsp.  Butter
1-2 lbs ground Polish Ham
1 cup cooked Rice
1 tsp. Parsley
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp.  Pepper
3 cups tomato sauce
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Basil or basil leaf



Take leaves off cabbage and boil in water for 10 minutes.  Meanwhile prepare filling by sauting meat and onions.  Add cooked rice and parsely, salt and pepper and blend well.  Roll filling in Cabbage leaves and arrange in a baking dish. Combine tomato sauce and lemon juice and poor over rolls. Bake covered in the oven at 350 degrees for one hour.
