Recipes - Beverages


This is one of those drinks that eat like a meal.  My Mom used to make this recipe every year for Christmas.  It just isn't Christmas without it.  It is great for Breakfast, Snack or a light supper.

2 cans evaporated milk
2 cans water
2 bananas sliced
1 pear (cut into 1 inch pieces)
1 jar Cherries with juice (no Stems)
1 cup grapes (cut in half)
1 can chunky pineapple
1 can peaches (cut in 1 inch pieces)
2 tsp Lemon juice


First Combine all ingredients except water and milk in a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice.  Mix well and let sit for a few minutes.  In a 2 quart pitcher mix fruit, water and Evaporated Milk and stir gently.  Chill in refridgerator for a few hours then serve in a tall glass with a long spoon.
